Returning to Your Body in Vienna

Returning to your body through somatic bodywork in Vienna is slow, consent-led, full-body work for women who feel distant from their own physical experience. At Sacred Touch it is held for women only, by a male practitioner, in English or German, in a private studio in Vienna's 13th district. It is not therapy or medical care, and not a sexual service.

When you understand it and still cannot feel it

You can describe your inner life with precision. You have language for your patterns, your history, your nervous system. And still, when you try to drop into the body, it can feel as though you are watching it from behind glass.

This is not a flaw, and it is not a failure of effort. A body that learned, at some point, that it was safer to observe than to feel does not let go of that simply because you have understood why. It lets go when it has a different experience to go on.

The body does not move on insight alone

Insight reaches a certain depth and stops. What lies past it is not another idea about the body but the body itself: warmth in a place that had gone quiet, the weight of yourself finally meeting the table, breath that arrives lower than it has in a long time.

The work does not ask you to feel a particular thing or to arrive anywhere on schedule. It meets the body where it actually is and lets sensation return at its own pace, which is the only pace it ever returns at.

What happens in a session

Before any touch, there is a conversation, over tea, without hurry. When you are ready, you move to the table, covered with soft linen. Your genitals stay covered throughout. The linen moves as the work does, always named before it happens. The touch is slow and follows your body, not a timer. Some women stay partly in their heads for most of a session and notice something shift only on the way home, or the next morning. You do not have to help the work along. That is the one thing it does not need from you. You can read how the work unfolds in full.

A space held by a man, on consent

The work is held by a man, on explicit consent, with stop-safety at any moment. Nothing is assumed; your no is received as information, never as resistance. If you want to feel that clarity first, read about a safe, consent-led space, or the broader page on somatic bodywork for women.

Frequently Asked Questions

You undress, and you may keep your underwear on if you wish. Staying fully clothed is not possible, because it prevents the work. Your genitals stay covered for the whole session, always. Whether your breasts stay covered is your choice, and it is settled in the conversation before you undress, never on the table. Soft linen covers you, and it moves only as the bodywork requires, so what is not being worked on stays covered. You can cover up again at any point, and you can stop at any point, without giving a reason.

It describes the experience of feeling your body from the inside again after a period of relating to it mainly through thought. At Sacred Touch this is supported through slow, consent-led somatic bodywork for women, in a private studio in Vienna. It is not therapy or medical care.

Somatic bodywork can offer the body a safe, unhurried experience that supports sensation returning at its own pace. It is not a treatment or a cure, and persistent numbness or dissociation can have clinical causes, so it does not replace psychotherapy or medical care. It can sit alongside that support.

No. It is not a sexual service in any form. The work is held in service of the body's capacity to feel and receive. A session includes no contact with your breasts and no contact with your genitals. The scope of a session is settled before you arrive and does not change during the session.
