The Grinberg Method is an internationally taught somatic education system: through body attention, touch and awareness, it aims to help people recognise limiting patterns and learn to stop them. In Vienna it is offered by several certified practitioners and is usually agreed as a block of several appointments. Sacred Touch is a private one-to-one practice in Vienna for somatic bodywork, for women only, with sessions of 90 to 150 minutes. Sacred Touch does not offer the Grinberg Method: the practitioner at Sacred Touch is not trained or certified in the Grinberg Method and holds no lineage in it.
The Grinberg Method in Vienna
The method has its own school with a defined qualification, and the school is represented in Austria. The practitioners who offer it in Vienna carry that qualification, and on their websites it usually stands in the first line.
A reflection on a different approach is here: Somatic Experiencing.

What Sacred Touch Is
Sacred Touch is a one-to-one practice in Vienna. I work alone, and the only work I offer is somatic bodywork for women. The pace follows your breath.
A session includes no contact with your breasts and no contact with your genitals. The scope of a session is settled before you arrive and does not change once you are on the table. Consent stays with you at every moment. You can stop at any point, without giving a reason.
Slow, sustained contact is registered by the skin differently from brisk contact, and most of this work rests on that difference.
In the studio, the warmth reaches you first. 24 degrees, before you arrive. Palo santo that has been burned here before. Many women arrive breathing in the upper part of the lungs, and over the tea the breath grows longer. As you talk, your voice slows, without your deciding it. The work begins on the back, then the legs and the feet. What follows is described on what happens in a session.
How this work differs from a classic massage is on somatic bodywork or massage.
Which Frame for Whom
If you are looking for structured training in attention, with a clear qualification, a block of several appointments and work on limiting patterns, a Grinberg practitioner in Vienna is the right door. There are qualified practitioners in this city, and they do something I do not do.
If you are looking for a slow, consent-led room, for women only, where nothing is asked of you, it is here.
And this work has its limit too. It is not for souls that are still learning through suffering. It meets a woman who has already done a great deal, and who notices that her body has not yet reached something her mind understood long ago.
Sessions in Vienna
Each session is complete in itself. A series is possible if you want one, with no minimum and no block. After the first, you decide whether a second follows, and if none does, that too is a complete answer.
If you have a question first, write it in a request. It commits you to nothing.
